Favorites - 8 : Motorcycles and cars I have a '00/Honda CBR250RR, bought before go to US, and start riding again when return. Twelve(12) years are passed but milage is only 4,500km(=about 2,800miles), might be rode in couple months by regular motorcycle lovers. I feel this motorcycle has best fit performance for me to enjoy. Still runs excellent but have to consider almost of parts are twelve years old except consumables and supplies. I was racing with mini-bikes(50/80cc micro racers) and in local MX races. To see motorcycle races is exciting, but to be in the race is more. I guarantee MX brushes up riding technique and recommend if you haven't tried yet. | ![]() |
Also I like cars as same as motorcycles. Cars I owned since I was 19 years old, all of them gotten harder suspension and other sports oriented modification. But my policy is "cars on the road shall meet to law". I like modification, but it should be legal, I guess. I have been driving family sedans/wagons in U.S. until Oct. 97. In fact I was so lazy for car maintenance. But this very charming Fiat Pininfarina Spider presented by my close friend KOTATSUNEKO changes it. Wrenches are in my hand again today. There are a bunch of fast cars and fun cars - this spider is another type - "happy to drive". (Jump to Fiat Pininfarina Spider's Page(J) of this site) When I return to Japan, I chose Honda Integra Type R for my car. People and magazines focuses to this "hand-crafted" high power engine exceeds 100ps/litle but from close ratio transmission to floor-pan without undercoating, this car is fully oriented to sports - catalogue does not express all of them. "Type R" is sold only in Japan - I feel I am lucky about it. (Jump to Honda Integra TypeR's Page(E) of this site) |

One more. A recing kart club is in my company, and open to all employees. Club owns some karts and club member can drive them free at all - do not need to be bohtered by bill of machine, running cost, transportation includes transporter. I have been being inteerested in karting but could not decide to own. Then introduced when return to japan - it's super! I was little afraid of "left-foot brake" but it became natual for me in shorter time than I thought. As known well, steering wheel is heavy like a rock but much more comfortable to drive than I assume----I know there is too much margin to the limit of machines potential when drivers are feeling "comfortable" with racing machines. I am excited to new chalenge! | ![]() |
